Since we have been receiving a lot of questions about Art Academy Sketchpad for WiiU and the inability to download Artwork from Miiverse the way it worked before the last update, here is a small tutorial to help you out. This was only tested with Firefox and Google Chrome yet, but it should work on other browsers, too.
The dollar-signs ($) added in the links in the following text only serve to keep Deviantart from using the links and htmls the way they usually do. When you try doing this yourself, they won't be appearent.
1. Go to your Artwork on the Web-version of "Miiverse". For the sake of this example, I am going to use one of my pictures.
The adress should look like similiar to this: http$s://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYQHAAABAADYUV6poarWvw
2. Right-click on the picture you want to download. Out of the given option choose "Inspect element" and click on it. This should open the code of the page you are on.
3. A part of the text in the code, <$div class="screenshot-container"><$img src="http$s://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/zlCfzRK9SeoNMBeCMk"></div$> in this example, should be marked. Copy it by pressing "Copy html" after another right-click on the marked text and paste it into your adress-bar.
4. Now remove the html-parts of the text, so nothing but the adress, in this example http$s://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.net/ss/zlCfzRK9SeoNMBeCMk is left. Press enter, and you are brought to a page with nothing on it but your artwork, that you can download now the way you always did.
We hope this small guide is helpful to you.
This will be helpful, thank you.
You know what? I think later this week, I'll make a folder for tutorials and things so we don't have to just put them in featured. I"ll request this for that then.
Or you could just go to view source, go to find, and start typing screenshot-container to find the image URL.
